Spiral Mixers in Malaysia
A spiral mixer is the machine that decides whether high-hydration dough works in your bakery. We supply Sunmix and Famag from Italy, plus Innofood and Bulli bench machines, from 4 kg of dry flour up to 80 litre production bowls — specified against your batch weight and daily output, delivered and commissioned across Malaysia.
Which size fits your output.
A tabletop spiral. Innofood KT-H10D takes 4 kg of dry flour, the KT-H15D 6 kg. From RM2,800.
Famag IM5-S or Sunmix SUN6. Removable bowl on the Famag, bowl inversion on the Sunmix. RM8,688 – RM8,888.
Sunmix EASY or EVO line. The EVO adds recipe memory and an infrared dough probe. RM9,888 – RM19,888.
Self-tipping and removable-bowl machines — SUN30 TL A upward, from RM26,388. Sized on batch weight, not piece count.
These are working numbers for 700 g loaves at around 70% hydration. Send us your batch weight and we will confirm against the actual recipe rather than a rule of thumb.

A spiral hook is not a general-purpose mixer.
It develops gluten by turning the bowl against a fixed hook and breaker bar, which is why it handles wet dough a planetary mixer cannot. It cannot cream butter or whip egg whites. If you make cake and cookies as well as bread, you need both machines, not a compromise.
Size on batch weight, not on the bowl.
A 20 litre bowl is not a 20 kg mixer. Every machine has a minimum batch as well as a maximum — run 2 kg of dough in a 20 kg bowl and the hook never engages it properly. Tell us your largest and smallest batch and we will size to both.
Dough temperature is the reason people upgrade.
In a Malaysian kitchen friction heat is the problem, not the cold. A two-speed spiral lets you develop on first speed and finish on second without driving the dough past temperature. The EVO line reads dough temperature with an infrared probe so you can stop on a number rather than a guess.
When you should not buy one yet.
Under about 20 loaves a day, a spiral mixer will not pay for itself. A tabletop machine or a good planetary will get you further, and the money is better spent on the oven. We will tell you when that is the case — we would rather sell you the right second machine next year.
It runs on Malaysian mains.
240 V 50 Hz with a local plug on the bench machines, so there is no transformer to buy. The larger three-phase mixers are wired in at commissioning rather than plugged in, and we handle that.
Warranty and parts stay local.
Two years on Sunmix motors, three on Famag. Belts, bowls, hooks and boards come through us or the brand's distributor here rather than from a shelf in Europe. The term for each machine is on its product page.

Three taps is enough for us to spec a line. Hydration and batch weight are optional — send them if you track them, skip them if you don't.
Your answers above travel with the message, so we can price it without twenty questions. Photos of your kitchen go here too.

Questions we get asked.
Spiral mixer or planetary mixer for sourdough?
Spiral. Sourdough is usually 70% hydration or higher, and a planetary beater climbs out of dough that wet instead of working it. A spiral turns the bowl into a fixed hook, so the dough is folded rather than smeared, and gluten develops in a fraction of the time.
How many loaves can a 6 kg spiral mixer produce a day?
Roughly 150 at 700 g of dough per loaf, assuming three or four mixes across a shift and time to rest between them. The real limit is usually proofing space and oven deck area, not the mixer, which is why we ask about the whole line before quoting one machine.
Do you deliver and install spiral mixers in Malaysia?
Yes. Bench machines ship by courier to Peninsular and East Malaysia. Anything that needs wiring in is delivered and commissioned by us — electrical check, first mix and operator handover. Which applies to your machine is confirmed with the quote, not on the day.
What is the difference between the Sunmix EASY and EVO lines?
Same bowl sizes and the same mixing geometry. The EVO adds a touch panel with twenty stored recipes and an infrared sensor that reads dough temperature while it mixes. If one person mixes to a fixed recipe every day, EASY is enough. If several people mix, or you are chasing consistency across a range of doughs, the recipe memory is what you are paying for.
Can I see one running before I buy?
Ask us. Bring your flour and your recipe and we will arrange a test mix by appointment so you can compare the dough against what you get now, rather than buying on a specification sheet.
